Pardalotus quadragintus  

These birds are usually found in the very top leaves of very tall white gum-trees and as they are such a small bird they are very hard to see.

These photos represent hours of waiting for them to come out in the open and come a little closer to the ground.

Located on Inala, Bruny Island.
